I know how to crop and resize, but I don't know how to add effects or text. I've got some ideas for Naruto icons, but they involve text and maybe doing fancy stuff. All my userpics were from simple crop & resize, and I might not use my ideas as userpics, but I'd still like to make them. Can anybody tell me how, or give me a tutorial or something? Pwease? *_*

 What is a meme? I've only ever heard of it since last week, and I'm getting the hang of what it is, but I can't find a good enough definition! All the definitions I come across make no sense to me: stuff about cultural ideas or something? >.< I wanna know what a meme is in relation to:

Who are you?
Who's your favorite character from _______?
Draw them in another universe.

And so on.

So if anyone can give me a definition that makes sense, I'd really appreciate it.
